Sustainable Growth is Teamwork
On Thursday 6 June 2024, Distrilog organised an exclusive customer event around sustainable growth. A large tent was set up on the lawn in front of the main building in Breendonk to receive the 75 guests. It was an inspiring evening around sustainability, the associated challenges and all its possible solutions.
Wannes Libbrecht (Encon) clarified the importance of CSRD reporting and Peter Thienpont of Volvo Trucks Belux went on about various sustainable transport solutions. Thomas Vercammen of Toyota Material Handling gave more information on the benefits and future of automation in logistics and, finally, our own CEO Philip Salaerts mentioned the challenges, realisations and future perspectives that Distrilog aspires to in terms of sustainability.
The presentations were followed by a double opportunity for the clients: they could take a guided tour through the automation project in Breendonk and then ride in one of our Electric Trucks.
Enjoying a delicious snack and drink, the customers could discuss what they had seen and heard throughout the evening. Everyone went home afterwards with new, sustainable ideas and insights.
