Distrilog Football Tournament 2024
On Saturday 8 of June, Distrilog organised its annual football tournament on the Wilrijkse Pleinen. Around noon, the eight registered teams started their first matches under a warm afternoon sun.
After 3 matches for each team in the group phase, it was immediately time for the semi-finals. FC K.A.C., FC Real, FC Distrilona & FC Cargovil competed for a place in the final. There were also matches for 5th and 7th place between FC Bayer Neverlusen, FC W17, Spartak Mars and Breendonk United.
After a fine comeback in the final, FC K.A.C. won 7-5 over FC Real. In the battle for 3rd place, FC Cargovil overtook FC Distrilona, last year's winners. At 4pm, the tournament ended with a shower and drinks, with no injuries at all. Thanks to all supporters and volunteers who made this tournament a success, and see you next year!
