100KM for Fight Against Cancer - Distrilog runs for charity!
On Sunday 16 March 2025, the annual 100KM run for Kom op tegen Kanker took place at the beautiful De Schorre domain in Boom. This sporting and heartwarming event brings together companies, associations and sports enthusiasts to raise money for cancer research. Distrilog was also at the starting line this year, determined to give a top sporting performance and raise a nice amount of money.
Each team consists of four runners who together cover the distance of 100 kilometres. Our Distrilog team was represented by four enthusiastic colleagues: Benjamin ran no less than 40 kilometres, Nicolas pushed on for 30 kilometres, Christophe took on 20 kilometres and Anouck successfully completed the last 10 kilometres.
With an amazing team effort, they managed to cover the total distance in 3 hours and 45 minutes! An impressive feat with which they not only pushed their sporting limits, but also raised a magnificent sum of €2,750 for research into fighting this terrible disease.
And the good news? Next year, Distrilog will go one step further! In 2026, we will enter not one, but two teams to once again give everything for this important cause.
