Electric Trucks in Distrilog-Fleet
Our electric trucks run daily emission-free shuttles between De Mouterij and the Container Terminal in Willebroek, on behalf of Alken-Maes. This sustainable transport initiative is an important step in our ambition to improve air quality and expand our electric fleet.
These electric trucks are currently used for shuttle work between De Mouterij and the Container Terminal in Willebroek, on behalf of Alken-Maes. Every day, they drive back and forth 8 to 9 times on this fixed route, generating zero emissions and thus contributing to cleaner air in our area.
After a day full of shuttles, the trucks return to our headquarters, where they fully recharge overnight at a special truck charging station. This ensures they are ready for another day of sustainable transport every morning.
The successful use of these two electric trucks is just the beginning. We are already in talks with other customers to further expand our electric fleet with even more trucks. At Distrilog, we believe that sustainability and efficiency can go hand in hand, and we are determined to further realise this vision in the transport and logistics sector.
